Lesson Learned

Today, Sean learned how to make Macaroni and Cheese.  It was a wonderful thing.

I told Sean what I wanted for dinner: a simple bowl of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.  I asked him to make it for me as I was doing the dishes.  While he was working away over at the stove and I at the sink, he asked me a question, so, I turned to look at him.  To my horror, I saw milk and butter being added into the pot of warming water.  NO! NO! NO!  I shouted at him to stop and he quickly retorted, "But the box says this is what it needs!"  I am just glad I stopped him before the cheese got added in.  I then asked, "Have you ever made mac and cheese before?"  Can you guess what his response was?  That's correct...it was no.  Never ever had he made mac and cheese before.

Needless to say, I am simply overjoyed that this happened now, before our children had to suffer the consequences of poorly cooked mac and cheese.
